Seed of Play® October Holiday Camp — Build • Play • Grow

Seed of Play® Holiday Camp — Build • Play • Grow
For children aged 6–13

A new home. Four years of making. A whole new adventure!

After four years of bringing our mobile woodworking workshops to schools, nurseries, parties, events and holiday camps, we’re excited to launch our very own holiday camp at our new home, Seed of Play Studio.

Over the years, we’ve shared the joy of woodworking with more than 6,000 children, helping them explore real tools, grow in confidence and discover the pride of making something with their own hands. Now, we’re bringing that experience into our welcoming studio—and we can’t wait to welcome familiar faces and new young makers for our first holiday camp here.

What will we get up to?

Our days will blend woodworking, crafts, STEM activities, building challenges and games, with plenty of opportunities to make friends and follow our imaginations.

Each morning and afternoon will feature a different structured project pack, offering a guided build for children who enjoy having something specific to work towards. Alongside this, children can explore free-flow woodworking: trying out ideas, experimenting with reclaimed wood and other materials, and seeing where the process takes them.

There’s no pressure to create a perfect finished product. Whether children follow a project or invent something entirely their own, we value the discoveries, problem-solving and confidence that grow along the way. No previous woodworking experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to have a go!

Time to pause and play

Full-day children will stay with us for a relaxed lunch and play break between sessions. Weather permitting, this may include a supervised visit to Brockwell Park, just a five-minute walk away, for fresh air and outdoor play.

An experienced, supportive team

Our camp is run by DBS-checked, first-aid-trained staff, with age-appropriate guidance and supervision when using tools. Relevant certification is available upon request.
